I have noticed that my children love to eat. If I allowed my children to each certain types of food each time they were hungry, they would be huge - I promise. I have a son, 3 years old, who goes into our refrigerator constantly. I see this as an opportunity. We stock up on fruits and vegetables, wash them, and put them at his height. Since he is hungry, he eats them. Now he is in the habit of snacking on fruits and vegetables all day. This will be a great habit to carry through life and it is very healthy. I hope this tip helps.

So TRUE! One of my sons is constantly wanting to snack- we planted a garden and stocked it with green beans, tomatoes and carrots. Our children help to plant and pick the veggies which I find makes them more excited about eating it.
